Art of Dark.. Trick or Treat

Art of Dark... Trick or Treat

So if I'm being honest this was a last minute outfit. It was halloween and I told myself to be good and not buy anything new... this was asking for the impossible! A few days before AOD  I looked through my wardrobe and couldn't find anything... Believe it or not. I wanted to wear my amazing Jeffrey Campbell studded biker boots, which luckily enough I got them in the sale from Office and I absolutely love them!! I ended up buying this black slit shirt dress from PLT I got a size up as I wanted it slightly baggy to wear as a dress. I added my black bralet from ASOS and a black chunky velvet choker, creating an extreme goth look. To add a more statement look I added my black eyelet detail triple belt from the amazing Misguided but unfortunately I did buy this belt in the summer so it is sold out now but check out Pretty Little Thing as they have similar ones available now!!!

PLT X SOFIA RICHIE

PLT X SOFIA RICHIE

So if you didn't already see Pretty Little Thing did a collaboration with the stunning Sofia Richie, with a whole range of must have clothes from everyday casual pieces to beaut dressy two pieces, playsuits and dresses. I was lucky enough to join up with PLT and pick a few of my fave lines from her Sofia Richie's collection
"Crush hard for velvet, look luxe in satin, show some skin in killer mini lengths and sheer lace fabrics, with looks that were made for late nights that turn into early mornings.'
My first outfit was a casual and comfy look, wearing one of my fave tees the Raiders slogan black boyfriend t-shirt, which would look unreal with a leather look skirt and sock boots. I got the complete Sofia casual look, matching the t-shirt with the Safina black hook eye sheer panelled leggings. Pair this look with some hi top converses and a leather jacket for a cool vibe. My second outfit was so different and eye catching wearing this festive Amias black metallic stripe knitted mini dress, add a chunky black belt, cute clutch bag and a pair of simple ankle strap heels or sock boots for an envious, edgy look.

MissPapped

MissPapped

This beaut velvet tracksuit and these must have ripped mom jeans are both from the amazing missPap. Velvet tracksuits, tops and dresses have become so popular this season, ready for the winter chills wearing a comfy and completely trendy and envious outfit. Available in a variety of colours and some more of a crushed velvet and some a normal velvet. You can wear these velvet tracksuits with trainers or fur slides, accessorising with a mini backpack for that extra cool style. I'm a fan of mom jeans not only are they extremely comfy but they look cool too, I took inspiration from the TV show 'Friends' and their fashion sense. I added fishnet tights as they are becoming a huge hit, no longer a 'slutty' accessories. The black large fishnet tights contrast with the jeans making it a real statement fashion piece. They were from Missguided but they sold out quick time so check out Ann Summers if you wanted a pair. Add a pair of trainers and a t-shirt rolled up.

Not Me

Not Me

When I've got a special occasion I do try and dress 'not very me' you may say. Trying to dress more feminine and sophisticated, wear something different and unique but with a touch of class. The majority of this outfit is from the wonderful MissGuided, this block coloured, one shoulder bralet, is a prefect statement piece. Style it with wide leg trousers, satin jogging bottoms or like me high waisted cigarette trousers for a smarter look. With a pair of simple, one buckle strap heels and a this cute 'graffiti'  clutch bag from Zara to complete this dressy, mono style.

Something to brighten up your day. I absolutely love this jacket!! You can style it both ways casual and chilled or classy and sophisticated. If you hadn't already noticed but I'm more of a chilled girl when it comes to outfits, so I put together a simple everyday outfit. This amazing, head turning animal print jacket is of course from the amazingggg Zara. Yes I have had a few Kat Slater comments but who cares you just laugh it off and carry on your swagger. I wore my ripped knee slim leg jeans from Missguided and a simple white t-shirt from H&M, tied it in a knot at the front for more detail. If your more feminine than me, you could pair some black sock boots or ankle boots with this outfit. but if your like me, a pair of trainers will do just fine. I've worn hi top Vans, but Converse, Superstars or Stan Smiths would look just as cool.

Lace Me Up

Lace Me Up

I absolutely love this dress, its a perfect eye catching, figure flattering, must have dress. From the amazing Maniere De Voir  this dress is available in white and nude and lucky enough for us girls who like a midi dress it now comes in that style too in black and khaki. It can easily be dressed up simply add a pair of single strap heels and basic clutch bag and that is all you really need to create a serious chic look. If like me you prefer a more casual and chilled style to fit around this dress, team with a pair of all black Dr. Martens, although at first the contrast of black and white does look quite harsh. Just balance it all out and add a black bag or like me my chain city bag from Zara. Styling my fave Jacket at the moment this amazing distressed long denim jacket, the frayed edges and rips go well with the white dress. I personally haven't accessorized at all other then a bag as the dress is so amazing on its own, you only want the attention on the dress and nothing else.

Denim Overloaddddd

Denim Overloaddddd

I've been a little obsessed with denim recently and Missguided has brought out the most unreal pieces of denim, from jeans, dresses, skirts and jackets. From a mixture of in your face patterns, styles and designs, Missguided has created it all. Wearing attention grabbing camouflage extreme ripped jeans, with basic t-shirts and showing off waistband underwear for a a more bad ass vibe. Doubling up denim in a more classy and fun way, patches have been a big must have in fashion wearing them on jackets and trousers, adding patches onto more distressed and ripped denim. A funky but daring look, finding another ripped pair of mom jeans and wearing the two together with a simple pair of heels.

A more punk and grunge look, styling the Marilyn Monroe slogan tee with this bleached out ripped denim pencil skirt, throwing it back to the 90's, accessorising with a chunky statement velvet choker. To finish it off add a leather jacket over the shoulders and you've got yourself a killer outfit. Finally still rocking the same rock t-shirt, this time wearing this seasons hottest accessory some fishnet tights, this time I have gone for the large style, again un-zipping these fierce, head turning statement jeans and folding them over showing off more of the fishnet unique look. Pair some black ankle sock boots and tie the t-shirt into a cropped knot, creating the most envious outfit, channeling your inner rock chick.

Cheetah

Cheetah

I have always been a fan of Motel Rocks, with their individual looks and envious, killer styles. For this outfit I have worn one of their best sellers, the Sweetheart neckline cheetah Lanti Bodice, animal print making its way back into fashion. This body is so comfy and looks great on, dress it up or down, like me worn with some high waisted Joni jeans from Topshop, leather jacket and some beaut mesh perspex ankle boots from Simmi. These boots come in a few different colours I would 100% recommend them, not only do they look beaut they are probably the comfiest heels I own. To finish of this outfit I have added a chunky velvet choker, tassel earrings and my chain city bag from Zara. To dress this outfit up you could add a leather mini skirt and a pair of simple strap heels.

Barely There

Barely There

The weirder you look can sometimes get a bigger and better response! Ripped jeans have been in fashion for a long time now, whether it's a little rip in the knees or to the extreme with massive holes in each leg. When it comes to wearing jeans there are a wide range of different colours, patterns, lengths and styles.  Simple skinny jeans with rips in the knee are very trendy, wear with a bodysuit, contrasting biker jacket and some boots and it will make your outfit look edgy and cool. If like me you have your own sense of fashion and style, sometimes the most unusual outfits are most appealing to you. Having your own style means you've got to be daring, think outside the box and not worry about who does and doesn't like your outfit. A little OTT is what some of our celebs prefer at the moment including Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce, wearing very ripped and frayed jeans.

I am also a fan of the extreme ripped effect, wearing barely there baggy fit jeans from Missguided, but you could find similar jeans across many high street stores including, Topshop, MissEmpire and Boohoo. I decided to add my own twist onto a key piece, adding some fishnet tights underneath for a more statement style, wearing the tights high above the jean waistline showing a layering effect. I've added a basic, black jersey bralet and a simple white cropped t-shirt on top, making the bottom half stand out even more! With a must have pair of hi top Van trainers or even a pair of converses to complete the 'extreme' look!

So yes I may have worn nightwear out, but funny enough I still got quite a few compliments on my dress! Wearing this super soft, slip dress with a lace trim from yes, the nightwear section on ASOS, you'll be surprised at all the nightwear pieces you could get away with wearing on a night out! This dress fits like a glove, hugs you in all the right places, it would look amazingggg with a pair of lace up heels or over the knee boots on a sophisticated night out. Accessorizing with a chunky velvet choker, for a more statement look and a pair of hoop earrings. I wasn't going anywhere special, for this outfit so, to make it more chilled I added my fave long denim jacket from Zara and paired my Dr. Martens and a cute little black backpack.

Layer Up

Layer Up

So experimenting and creating something new is my forte, let's be honest even if it does look a little weird I try my hardest to style it out well. Of course everythangggg is from the one and only MissGuided!! Wearing my new favourite, ribbed 3/4 length plunge jumpsuit, slyly making me feel like I should be in a old school work out video... But honestly this jumpsuit is beaut, looks amazing on and feels great too, would look stunning with a pair of heels and statement clutch. As I was playing a little game of layering, I decided to layer a baggy boyfriend t-shirt placing it off the shoulder showing off more of the jumpsuit underneath. I have decided to give two looks wearing the same stuff, a casual and cool, wearing Vans and knotting the t-shirt for a more chilled sporty look. Or if you've got more of a dressy side to you and would like a unique and killer look, accessorize with a black body harness, for a more eye catching look. Finish off with a pair of heels and contrasting bomber jacket adding some colour to this edgy outfit.

Layer, Layer, Layer

Layer, Layer, Layer

Head to toe in MissGuided, as we all know old school trends come back round and this time we salute the return of the fancy slip dress and casual tees, making layering up become a real statement! Taking influence from the very popular fashion icons such as Kendall and Kylie Jenner who have channelled their inner 90'S girl, wearing a t-shirt underneath a slip dress contributing to this look become one of this seasons hottest trends. Layering allows us to experiment, adding our own twist and style. For this outfit I have tried to add a very unusual style, wearing a basic white t-shirt, black harness, lace bra, making the outfit more fun and different. Instead of going for the usual silky slip dress I wore a silky, strappy playsuit, which is also available in other colours!! Add a cute pair of heels and clutch bag and you've got yourself a sexy but comfy, statement outfit.
